The Home Depot developed the former Laing Middle School 9.96-acre site into a new home improvement store and garden center. The store is approximately 135,717 SF with a 28,118 SF garden center as well as 1,300 SF of covered/enclosed display areas along three of the building’s facades. The Home Depot selected Davis & Floyd to provide project management and site design for its first development in the Town of Mount Pleasant. Our team provided services, which included surveying, civil engineering, and landscape architecture design. We also assisted The Home Depot through the town’s impact assessment process and other necessary entitlements to receive approval for the store’s development.
