Habersham

As a new waterfront community located on a former antebellum plantation, Habersham integrates homes within walking distance of its traditional town center consisting of shops, cafes, offices, and public squares as well as its island activities center, community dock, parks, and inn.

Davis & Floyd has been involved with Habersham since its inception. We assisted with site master planning as well as provided engineering support for multiple phases of development, including design, permitting, and construction management services for more than 16 miles of roads and alleys; four pump stations; six large ponds; pool complex; 10-acre recreation complex; multiple parks; and water and sewer to serve more than 700 homes with plans to add another 500.

Voted “Best Neighborhood” in 2005 by Professional Builder magazine and the National Association of Home Builders, Habersham ranked number four out of 20 “Best Places to Live on the Coast 2018” by Coastal Living Magazine.
