Davis & Floyd was awarded seven lake access projects by the Lake Management Division of Duke Energy. The projects are all located on Lake Keowee in both Oconee and Pickens Counties. This assignment was a continuation of an ongoing relationship with Duke Energy Lake Management, which was established in the late 1990s.

Design elements for these projects include: canoe portages; fishing piers; loading docks; new parking lots; boat ramps; rehabilitation of existing parking lots; picnic sites and shelters; restroom facilities; ADA-accessible sidewalks; and bank fishing trails. We provided services including: topographic surveys; underwater surveys; plan development; permitting inclusive of 401/404 permits; and construction administration. The seven projects included in this assignment are:

  • Cane Creek Access Area Upgrades, Oconee County
  • Fall Creek Access Area Upgrades, Oconee County
  • South Cove County Park Upgrades, Oconee County
  • Stamp Creek Access Area Upgrades, Oconee County
  • Keowee Town Access Area Upgrades, Oconee County
  • Mile Creek County Park Upgrades, Pickens County
