Barnwell County Transfer Station

Davis & Floyd has been providing Barnwell County with solid waste management services for over 35 years.

We designed, permitted, and managed construction of its on-site transfer station. After the transfer station experienced significant damage by a tornado, we designed its upgrades and repairs. Our team led the effort to contract the demolition of the old steel structure. Reconstruction design and permitting included raising the overall transfer station slab, adding concrete push walls on either side, adding truck tunnel pavement, and providing additional improvements to operate the facility.
