Davis & Floyd, Inc. was recently selected to conduct an engineering study for Greenwood Metropolitan District to evaluate necessary additions and modifications to the Wilson Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant. This facility is a 12 MGD plant which provides sewarage services to the majority of the Greenwood Metropolitan area. It was initially constructed in the late 1950s and has been upgraded in several phases.

Davis & Floyd, Inc. has enrolled in higher education recently with the award of several projects at Lander University. The school has awarded three Indefinite Delivery Contracts (IDC) to our firm for improvements to the grounds and buildings. One of these IDC's is the new vehicular entrance access into the center of campus from U.S. Highway 25, which will be a four lane divided median boulevard. In addition to being a functional thoroughfare, this entrance will have a great emphasis on landscaping, since it will create the first impression new visitors receive of the University.

Davis & Floyd, Inc. has been selected to provide engineering services for a 195-acre development in North Augusta, South Carolina adjacent to the Savannah River. Davis & Floyd will be working in conjunction with CIVITAS/Leyland Developers and Dover-Kohl Planners in development of this site, which will include residential development of 575 homes, townhouses, apartments and condos, a 150-room hotel, 45,000 SF Conference Center, 300,000 SF commercial space, and development of a 40-Acre park which will include an amphitheater, floating stage and public access to the riverfront.

Davis & Floyd, Inc. was recently selected by the Charleston County School District to perform extensive renovations to Goodwin Elementary School. The work will include a site survey and the addition of seven new classrooms which will replace existing trailers and provide some additional room for growth. The project will also include the design of a new science lab, a new computer lab, renovations to existing restrooms throughout the school and upgrades to the fire safety system.
