Our highway designers are highly qualified, well-equipped, and very experienced in all aspects of highway design, right-of-way acquisition, and construction. They also can perform courthouse research, prepare plats, perform surveys for construction, plot field data, prepare finished drawings for construction, and provide services during construction. We designed 57 miles of primary and secondary roads and 17 grade separation bridges at intersections and crossing routes for the $385M Conway Bypass Project in Horry County, SC.

As a member of the Construction and Resource Management West team (CRM West) for the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT), we are assisting the SCDOT in accomplishing what was formerly 27 years’ worth of planned transportation improvements in only 7 years. This involves over 50 individual road and bridge projects, representing over $700M in construction costs.

The CRM-West team was tasked to provide SCDOT with a financial management plan, surveying standards manual, CADD standards manual, automation specifications, and other value-added activities.

We have design responsibility for 12 transportation projects involving new highway construction, highway widenings, bridges and associated drainage, and other improvements.

We are providing construction engineering and inspection (CEI) services for the CRM projects located in the Upper Savannah, Lower Savannah, Lowcountry, and Berkeley Charleston Dorchester Councils of Government regions.

Our surveyors provide property, topographic, wetlands, ROW, and/or verification surveys for all projects in the Western CRM region. We are assisting in preparing statewide CRM procedures manuals for CEI, QA/QC, and Design.
