Our
Geographic Information Systems (GIS) specialists are experienced in
project workspace design, data collection, spatial analysis, and tabular
arrangement needed to build the base data required for professional
approaches to engineering and surveying solutions. Each product stage
is graphically displayed through stunning full color visual cartographic
representation, allowing for an unmatched understanding of the existing
infrastructure and geography at the project level. Information components
yield scientifically accurate datasets that augment GIS systems for
industries, utility companies, agencies, or the public to assist in
total design solutions. Deliverables are a custom product of the customer’s
needs and the engineering requirements combined to yield accurate, visual
results that have substance in all phases of analysis.
These results are accomplished with the use of aerial photography, digital
topographical maps, satellite imagery, and GIS remotely sensed data.
Our specialists arrange the geo-registered data to answer key questions
and perform studies of client-specific project features. Emphasis is
placed on implementing digital technologies through the integration
of photo-grammetric and remote sensing data with land and geographic
information systems (LIS/GIS). Digital image data recorded by satellite
and high altitude aircraft sensor systems is analyzed by engineers in
image processing applications that are specific to client requests.
The generation of data through the extraction of intelligent information
from multi-sensor data sets provides critical value-added information.
Cross platform map and image data in both vector and raster formats
can be merged and overlayed with numerical data to facilitate mapping,
modeling, and decision-making for applications such as transportation,
public utilities, storm drainage, forest management, ecological impact,
hazardous waste assessment, urban planning, and map revision.
We use a combination of software and graphic applications to prepare
support materials as well as electronic and print deliverables
for projects. Products will be constructed to make full or predetermined
limited use of the Open Database Connectivity (ODBC). All data will
be provided in a digital format that is compliant with the Federal Geographic
Standards set forth in the FGDC Guidelines. Our products meet or exceed
all state and federal licensing regulations. We strive to
stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and maintain proficiency
with ESRI, AutoDesk, MapInfo, and Erdas application software. We are
also currently adding Intergraph's GeoMedia platform to our GIS tool
box.
