Davis & Floyd’s experience with military projects includes new maintenance and utility buildings as well as renovation, upgrades, and expansion of existing facilities. Renovation of existing facilities on military bases often includes: replacement of windows and roofing; upgrading of interior finishes; and improvements to, or complete replacement of, building systems (plumbing, mechanical, lighting, power, data, fire protection, and security).

Military installations require strict adherence to federal standards such as the UFC regulations. In addition, each major base has its own base-wide architectural standards for materials, systems, and finishes. We appreciate the challenge of designing unique architecture within the strict confines of a military base.
